Pressfit System

This bottom bracket is a Pressfit type. This means it is pressed into the bottom bracket housing (BB86/86.5) of your frame. Unlike bolt-on (BSA) systems, no threading is required. During assembly, the bearing housings are pressed into the frame, and then the crankshaft passes through these housings.

Advantages:

• It allows for larger diameter tubes and therefore a stiffer frame.

• When assembled with the correct tools, it is very sturdy.

Attention: A special press tool is required for assembly. Simply hammering it in can damage the bearings and frame.
