A guide to choosing bicycle oils and lubricants
Start by identifying the component. Chain oil, assembly grease, degreaser and general maintenance spray are not interchangeable. Compare dry- and wet-condition chain products with your routes and read how the formula works and is applied.
Chain cleaning and proper removal of excess product are important. Follow instructions and maintenance needs instead of applying a large amount at once.

- Verify chain cleaning, drying, application and waiting steps before riding.
