Choose clamp size by the frame's outer diameter
The post enters the frame; the clamp sits outside. Do not infer clamp size directly from post diameter. Check the existing marking or frame specifications. On special designs such as XLC rack-mount clamps, assess extra attachment use and rack compatibility separately.

Is seatpost size the same as clamp size?
