Stems
A stem joins the handlebar to the fork-side attachment and affects riding position. For PRO, Epic and FSA, check length, angle and both fitting dimensions together. Riser adapters and complete stems are different parts; use your existing system as the basis.

Both connection diameters and geometry matter
Handlebar clamp and steerer attachment are different dimensions. Length and angle change bar position but do not produce identical fit on every bicycle. Note current dimensions. Compare threaded/threadless system, available steerer area and cable length with the new part.
- Match bar centre diameter with stem clamp.
- Verify fork-side dimension and system type.
- Assess length and angle against current riding position.
- Check hose and cable reach when raising bars.
Will any stem with one matching diameter work?
No. The other fitting, clamping area and manufacturer requirements must match. Read fork and bar material requirements separately.
Can a riser raise the position without limits?
No. Adapter and bicycle have installation limits. Verify usable steerer length, fitting method and cable clearance with instructions.
