Cartridge and inflator head must match
The cartridge-to-head fitting is a key criterion. Different gas weights may produce different results in the same tyre; tyre volume and target pressure vary. The category heading cannot establish exactly how many tyres one cartridge will inflate. Compare cartridge, head and valve information separately.
- Check head compatibility with threaded or other cartridge fittings.
- Confirm the head supports your valve type.
- Check whether cartridge, valve and protective parts are included.
- Follow manufacturer temperature instructions for storage and use.
Can a CO2 cartridge be refilled?
Do not try unless explicitly described as refillable. Read use and disposal instructions on its packaging.
Can it be used with tubeless sealant?
Verify compatibility with both sealant and cartridge-system manufacturers. Do not assume all sealants are equally suitable for CO2.
