Match the wheelset to your bicycle
Verify front and rear wheel interfaces separately. Quick releases and thru-axles differ; axle diameter and hub spacing must suit the frame and fork. On disc wheels, check rotor mounting; on rim-brake wheels, check the braking surface. The freehub body carrying your cassette must also suit the drivetrain.
- Compare rim diameter and internal width with your tyre.
- Distinguish an individual front or rear wheel from a complete set.
- For tubeless use, check compatibility of rim, tyre and required accessories.
Are carbon wheels better for every use?
The choice depends on riding conditions, brake system and maintenance expectations. Do not decide on material alone.
Is there only one disc rotor mounting type?
No. Interfaces include Center Lock and six-bolt. Check the product description for how your rotor fits the selected hub, and do not assume all required parts are included.
