Bicycle Grips
Grips form the contact surface between hands and handlebars. For rubber, palm-support and lock-on designs, check bar diameter, grip length and space for shifters. Riding adjustment and hand position affect comfort alongside grip feel.

Consider grip shape and handlebar layout together
Evo and Impact offer different lengths, textures and retention. Palm-support angle can affect hand position. Lock-on clamps and slip-on designs install differently. Check whether you use twist shifters and available space on both sides.
- Compare handlebar end dimensions with stated grip compatibility.
- Ensure grip length leaves space for brake and shift controls.
- Check right/left, paired or single contents.
- Read end plug and clamp tightening instructions.
Will ergonomic grips definitely solve numbness?
This cannot be guaranteed. Bar position, hand placement and bicycle setup also matter. Assess overall position for persistent discomfort.
Can long grips be cut shorter?
Not every model allows it. Clamps and internal structure may cause problems. Cut only as explicitly permitted by the manufacturer.
