Bicycle Bells
A bicycle bell mounts on the handlebars to warn others during everyday riding. Epic and UGR examples vary in colour, body and fitting. Assess bar diameter, hand reach and space alongside other controls.

Choose a bell you can comfortably reach
Size and control direction affect placement. Clamp and silicone-strap designs attach differently. A bell too close to a brake lever or grip may hinder controls. Compare with your handlebar layout, considering usable space as well as appearance.
- Read the supported handlebar diameter.
- Assess right or left access against your hand position.
- Ensure brake and gear levers retain full movement.
- After fitting, check security and clearance from cables.
Does a small bell take less space?
The body may be small, but clamp and control also need room. Assess overall placement and any stated dimensions.
How do I choose strap or bolt mounting?
Consider removal needs, bar shape and compatibility range. Follow manufacturer fitting instructions for either and check security before riding.
