Selle Italia GT-1 FeC Saddle – The New Standard of Comfort and Sustainability in the City 🚴‍♂️

Would you like to make your daily rides more enjoyable, comfortable, and sustainable? The GT-1 FeC Saddle, developed by Selle Italia, is a modern saddle solution designed for urban use, commuting, and long tours, combining ergonomics, lightness, and eco-friendly production.

🌿 Innovative Design: Lock-On Technology (Double-Lock System)

One of the most important features that distinguishes the GT-1 from its competitors is its Lock-On (Double-Lock System) technology, which offers completely glue-free production.

✔ No glue used
✔ Parts are mechanically locked
✔ ♻️ Much easier to recycle
✔ Minimal environmental impact

👉 Thanks to this technology, the saddle can be disassembled at the end of its lifespan without harming nature. This means you are not just buying comfort, but also sustainability.

🧠 Ergonomics & Comfort: Open Shell Design

The ergonomic structure of the GT-1 makes a noticeable difference on long rides.

✔ Open shell design
✔ Reduces pressure in the perineal area
✔ Minimizes numbness and discomfort during prolonged sitting

🚴 Provides maximum comfort, especially during stop-and-go city rides and long tours.

🪶 Balance of Lightness & Support: EVA Padding Technology

The EVA padding and cover used in the saddle provide a perfect balance of weight and comfort:

✔ Does not add unnecessary weight
✔ Offers sufficient softness and support
✔ Ideal hardness balance for daily use

👉 Neither too hard nor too soft: just the right amount of support.

🔩 Durability: FeC Alloy Rail System

The rail system used in the GT-1's sub-structure offers long-lasting use:

✔ FeC Alloy (Carbon-Iron Steel alloy)
✔ Ø 7 mm standard rail diameter
✔ High strength + flexibility balance
✔ Resistant to impacts and long-term use

🔧 Compatible with most seatposts.

🚴‍♀️ Areas of Use

Thanks to its versatile structure, the GT-1 FeC can be safely used on different types of bicycles:

✔ City bikes
✔ Touring / Trekking bikes
✔ E-bikes (Electric bicycles)
✔ Daily commuting use

👉 It won't let you down, whether you're going to work or meeting friends in the evening.

🏁 Final Comment

Unlike performance saddles, the GT-1 FeC is a smart choice that appeals to comfort-oriented urban riders. Especially considering the vibrations, rough roads, and long sitting times experienced in city use in Turkey, this saddle offers a very strong alternative in terms of price/performance.
